8:00-8:45: Indoor quiet play with materials and friends

HALF DAY Schedule: 8:45 - 12 noon

8:45: Children arrive, school begins

STARS GROUP 2's to 3's

Indoor Classroom Time, then Outdoor Time

SUNS GROUP 3's to 5 1/2's 

Indoor Classroom Time, then Outdoor Time

Indoor work time: Work with various materials projects, individual and group presentations and instruction. Wash hands, have snack (typically a grain, protein and fruit or vegetable)

Circle time: sharing, songs, topical discussions, grace and courtesy lessons, etc.            

Outdoor Time: play, arts & crafts, practical life activities, group games, etc.

LUNCH DAY Schedule 8:45 - 12:50pm

8:45 - 12:15: See morning notes above.....add Lunch:

12:15-12:45:  Lunch Time, and Lunch Clean up

8:45 - 12:45: See morning notes above through Lunch...add Afternoon to 3pm:

12:45-1:00:  Pick up time for Lunch Day children, clean up and preparing for Nap Time or Afternoon Classes below:

12:50-3:00:  Nap Time: Children ages 2 to 4+ years participate in nap time

12:50-3:00:  Afternoon Classes - Children 4 years and older who no longer need Nap time. (check in with the Director to determine best fit) 

Afternoon Classes are scheduled from 1:00pm – 3:00pm and available for students who no longer need a nap and are at least 4 years old. Students must be able to focus and follow directions for the duration of the two-hour class, as well as participate happily for any additional afternoon time spent at Sunrise Montessori.

During the Afternoon Classes, students have the opportunity for additional in-depth studies in the following areas:

3:00–5:30:  Outdoor play, arts & crafts, practical life activities, group games, etc.
